Santos says it has filed a complaint against AC Milan and Inter Milan for their alleged attempt to negotiate the transfer of playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso without the Brazilian club's consent.

Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro told the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper that Santos ''formally notified'' the clubs and FIFA, saying the alleged attempts to talk to the young Brazilian midfielder breach international transfer rules.

Ganso has said he would like to play abroad and local media reported that his representatives negotiated with agents from the Italian clubs a few weeks ago. The representatives deny the reports.

Brazilian club Corinthians also is reportedly interested in signing the 21-year-old Ganso.
