Palermo has signed coach Giuseppe Sannino and forward Franco Brienza, bringing both from Siena on two-year deals.
The announcements were made Wednesday.
Sannino guided Siena to 14th spot in Serie A last season in his first year as a topflight coach.
It is a return to Palermo for Brienza, who made nearly 200 appearances for the club between 2000 and 2008.
Palermo sacked Bortolo Mutti at the end of the season following a disappointing campaign in which the Sicilian club finished in 16th place.
