Hodgson is content with life at Albion after helping them to secure their Premier League status with 16 points from 10 games since he took charge in February. His current deal runs out in the summer of 2012, when he will be 65, and he has no desire to look too far ahead. Former Liverpool boss Hodgson said: "I am enjoying doing it at the moment. I don't have any more thoughts. "I'm 64 this summer and, when you reach that age and you're still enjoying your life and enjoying your football, you're better off taking it one year at a time. "I don't think I need to be looking into the distant future but I am happy here. "I enjoy the work, I enjoy working with the players and the people I work with and long may that continue." Hodgson added: "If it's more than a year, who knows? But at the moment I am perfectly happy to keep soldiering on and enjoying life on a day-to-day basis."
