Czech Republic will travel to Japan for the Kirin Cup without injured captain Tomas Rosicky and key striker Milan Baros.

The Czechs will face Peru on June 4 in Matsumoto then Japan on June 7 in Yokohama.

Rosicky missed several matches for Arsenal recently with a muscle injury while Baros has an Achilles' tendon injury.

Coach Michal Bilek named six newcomers, all from Czech clubs, to the team on Wednesday, including midfielders Petr Trapp from champion Plzen and Petr Janda from Slavia Prague.

The Czechs agreed to play in the Kirin Cup after receiving an assurance in April that the post-earthquake nuclear crisis there poses no risk for players. They also regard it as a warmup for the final stage of Euro 2012 qualifying.
