Ronaldo appeals to Real fans
Cristiano Ronaldo has asked the Real Madrid fans to be more like
those of Manchester United.
The Portugal international moved to Spain from Old Trafford
for a world record fee over the summer.
"We know that we have to entertain but sometimes it isn't
possible," Ronaldo told Marca.
"We always try but sometimes, when the team isn't playing
well, the fans could give us more support.
"The Manchester United fans, for example, were very
intimidating for Liverpool and Manchester City.
"I think if our supporters tried to do the same it would be a
lot better for everyone and would give the players a big boost."
Madrid's expensively-assembled team struggled to gel at the
start of the season but now sit two points behind Primera Division
leaders Barcelona after a run of six wins in seven games.
