Barnet boss Mark Robson chose to concentrate on the positives of his side's 2-0 defeat at Rochdale.

First-half goals from Ashley Grimes and Dele Adebola put Dale in the driving seat, but they failed to take full advantage of a Barnet side woefully short on confidence.

The hosts were in cruise control for much of the game, but could have paid the price for their lethargy as the visitors staged a late rally.

"I know we're a young group just learning the game and it's tough when you are down at the bottom of the league, but I want to see a bit more belief in themselves from the players.

"I was pleased with the way we played in the second half. The game was mainly played in Rochdale's half of the pitch and we created a few good chances. I'm just disappointed we didn't manage to take one because that would have brought us right back into the game.

"I was disappointed with their first goal - I thought there was a foul in the build-up. I'll take another look at it and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong."
