Robben expected to miss Dutch opener

Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk doesn't think Arjen Robben will be fit in time to face Denmark in the team's World Cup opener.

Robben is nursing a hamstring injury that he picked up during a 6-1 win over Hungary in a friendly on Saturday, and was set to undergo further tests back home later Tuesday. Van Marwijk says that he doesn't expect the Bayern Munich winger to play against Denmark on Monday, and that it was still uncertain when he will join his teammates in South Africa.

Van Marwijk adds that he still hopes Robben will play in later games.
