Boca Juniors' iconic playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme says he is doing his best to persuade Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez to rejoin the Buenos Aires giant.
Tevez is involved in a bitter dispute with his current club after City manager Roberto Mancini said he refused to come on as a substitute in a 2-0 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich in September.
Tevez insists he was misunderstood, but was fined by City and hasn't played for the club since. He arrived in Argentina on Tuesday, a day before he was due to start training.
Riquelme says he tries to persuade Tevez to return to Boca ''every time'' they speak.

Tevez made his professional debut with Boca in 2001, winning the league title and Copa Libertadores during his time at the club.
