Bayern Munich's chairman says the club doesn't plan to buy any more players in the offseason after bringing in Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and several others.
Bayern is determined to win the Bundesliga title under new coach Jupp Heynckes after finishing third last season. The club has signed Neuer, Germany defender Jerome Boateng, Brazilian defender Rafinha, and striker Nils Petersen. Japanese striker Takashi Usami is joining on loan.
Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Saturday's edition of the Bild daily that, with those five players, Bayern has secured the transfers that were ''really necessary.''
He adds: ''The squad now stands ... the acquisitions are concluded.''
