Antonio Conte has reportedly reached an agreement to coach Juventus, with the club expected to fire Luigi Del Neri after the season ends Sunday.
Having played 14 seasons for Juventus, Conte is currently managing Siena in Serie B, with the Tuscan club having already clinched promotion back into the top division.
The Gazzetta dello Sport reports Tuesday that Juventus gained permission from Siena to talk to Conte and the parties have agreed to a two-year deal worth ?1.5 million ($2.1 million) per season after taxes.
A 1-0 loss to Parma last weekend left Juventus in seventh place and at risk of missing out on qualifying for the Europa League.
