Stefan Reisinger scored the equaliser five minutes into injury-time as Freiburg drew 2-2 at home against Hertha Berlin.

Adrian Ramos gave Berlin the lead after 20 minutes and the guests led 2-0 after Peter Niemeyer's goal a minute into first-half injury-time.

Reisinger pulled a goal back for Freiburg in the 61st minute before his late heroics.

Freiburg's win follows their victory over Nurnberg which had ended a three-game losing streak to take them to 11 points. Hertha have collected just one win in their last five games to sit on 17 points.

Freiburg coach Markus Sorg had to make a substitution after just 10 minutes with Cedric Makiadi replacing Jan Rosenthal.

The hosts nearly fell behind after 14 minutes as Hertha keeper Thomas Kraft missed a ball played back to him and had to rush back to clear it before going into his own goal.

Hertha's first chance was also their first goal as Raffael played a through ball to Ramos, who struck a right-foot blast just inside the far left post from the edge of the area in the 20th minute.

Hertha nearly doubled the advantage four minutes later but Freiburg keeper Oliver Baumann saved a ball by Pierre-Michel Lasogga. And Kraft made a fine save from Anton Putsila's effort from the edge of the area in the 28th minute.

Freiburg should have been awarded a penalty in the 44th minute but the referee did not point to the stop after Roman Hubnik's tackle on Papiss Demba Cisse in the box.

And Hertha made it 2-0 just before the break after some hectic play in the area with Johannes Flum clearing a ball at the line but it went to Niemeyer, who struck from six yards.

Freiburg pulled a goal back after 61 minute as Reisinger got past one Hertha defender and then unleashed a shot into the lower left corner from outside the area.

Reisinger appeared to have equalised the game in the 81st minute with a header at the far right post after a corner. But referee Markus Wingenbach took the goal off the board, ruling that he had not whistled the ball free to be played.

Freiburg were close again with two minutes left but Berlin defender Christian Lell headed Putsila's header off the crossbar.

Reisinger and Freiburg finally got their equaliser five minutes into injury time as Cisse's ball from the left side landed at Reisinger who hit from at the far right post.
