Reina keeping Liverpool focus
The Spain international was at fault for Steaua Bucharest's equaliser in their Europa League draw on Thursday, allowing Eder Bonfim's header to squirm from his grasp. Reina, whose future remains the subject of speculation despite him publicly stating last month he was committed to the club, is expected to captain the side again in the absence of the injured Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. He will be urging his team-mates to secure a return to winning ways after last weekend's defeat to Tottenham having taken the lead and dominated the first half. But assuming the captaincy is not something which is plans to bask in. "Win on Monday, that is the main target," he said. "It is tight in the league and anyone can beat anyone else and that makes the competition even tougher. "It is an honour to wear the captain's armband but we have too many captains on this team." When quizzed about his future and the continued speculation about it, the 28-year-old added: "Well if you keep asking, I am going to ignore it. "I said it many times - I have a contract with Liverpool, that's all."
