Owusu-Abeyie was on loan at Fratton Park until the end of the season from Spartak Moscow but the Russian club last week asked Portsmouth to terminate his deal. They have now agreed to this and the forward has now made his way to Doha and penned a contract after Al Sadd agreed a fee believed to be £4million for the 23-year-old. Portsmouth are believed to have picked up around £250,000 for allowing the deal to go through.
