Queens Park Rangers blew a chance at its second home win in the English Premier League when it conceded a goal nine minutes from time to let West Bromwich Albion draw 1-1 in the English Premier League on Saturday.
With QPR determined to make it 2-0, West Brom counterattacked. Replacement Peter Odemwingie outpaced Luke Young down the left flank and his cross was converted by Shane Long at the back post.
Heidar Helguson netted in his fourth straight league match in the 20th, heading in a cross from captain Joey Barton, who was back from suspension.
The home side thought it scored again moments later, but Shaun Wright-Phillips was whistled for offside.
