Orlando Engelaar gave the visitors the lead after 18 minutes but Donny Gorter (35) equalised and Robbert Schilder grabbed a surprise winner 17 minutes from time. The defeat leaves PSV just one point ahead of FC Twente, who have a game in hand. Elsewhere, AZ Alkmaar bolstered their European bid by coming from behind to thrash Heerenveen 4-1. The visitors took the lead when Filip Djuricic smashed in a superb goal in the 20th minute. But AZ equalised within two minutes through Maarten Maartens before further strikes from Mounir El Hamdaoui, Jeremain Lens and Brett Holman swept the hosts to a comfortable win. Willem II slipped further into trouble as they lost 3-2 at Heracles. Heracles got off to the perfect start when Darl Douglas fired them ahead in the third minute, but Gerson Sheotahul levelled 20 minutes later. However, goals from Marko Vejinovic and Everton either side of the break put the hosts firmly in the driving seat before Sheotahul grabbed his second of the night in the 65th minute. ADO Den Haag came from behind to secure a deserved 1-1 draw in a crunch clash with Vitesse Arnhem at Het Zuiderpark. After Lasse Nilsson's well-worked goal had given Vitesse the lead, Christian Kum headed in Pascal Bosschaart's corner to ensure a share of the spoils.
