Paris Saint-Germain coach Antoine Kombouare insists midfielder Stephane Sessegnon will not be sold in the January transfer window.

Sessegnon has failed to pin down a regular first-team berth this season and French sports daily L'Equipe on Wednesday reported the 26-year-old had met with Kombouare this week to demand a transfer.

However, Kombouare insists he is happy with his current squad - PSG sit second in Ligue 1 - and has no intention of making any changes.

"I am very happy with my squad," Kombouare said

"I hope no one wants to leave, but even if they did the answer would be no.

"I am trying to defend the best interests of the team. We need everyone because there are not many of them."

Sessegnon, who is under contract at the capital club until 2013, has seen just 226 minutes of action over the last 10 games and has not been included in the travelling party for tonight's league game at Nancy.
