PSG deny Cole and Evra interest
Paris Saint-Germain have attempted to distance themselves from reports suggesting they are looking to put deals in place for Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole and Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
Cole has been linked with a switch to the French capital for some time, with quotes attributed to his mother suggesting that move is imminent.
Speculation has also claimed that Evra could soon be heading home, with the France international having spent the last seven years at Old Trafford.
PSG are, however, adamant that neither left-back figures on their wish list for the January transfer window.
They have also rubbished rumours linking them with an approach for Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder.
"Are Sneijder and Cole options? No, neither is. The same goes for Patrice Evra," PSG sporting director Leonardo said in L'Equipe.
Leonardo has also commented on the latest speculation linking PSG with Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Brazilian refusing to rule out the possibility of making a move for the Real Madrid forward.
He added: "PSG has become a club where anything is possible.
"There is no contact at all but now when we talk about the departure of such a great player, there are only four or five clubs who could make a deal happen - PSG is now part of that group."
