Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo insists Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez is not for sale.

Sanchez has been strongly linked with a move away from Udinese before the end of the transfer window, with several clubs, including Inter Milan and Chelsea, reportedly keen to acquire the 22-year-old's services.

But Pozzo said to Gazzetta dello Sport: "Sanchez and (striker Antonio) Di Natale will stay put.

"I reiterate that nothing will happen until the end of the season.

"I want to keep Sanchez for at least another year.

"He is young and the players here know there is an opportunity to do something important and I don't think they want to leave."

Sanchez, whose current contract runs until 2014, played in Udinese's 3-1 win over Inter on Saturday that lifted the Friuli outfit to eighth in the Serie A table, four points behind the top four.

The South American star moved to Udinese in the summer of 2008 from River Plate and has scored five goals in 20 Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri this season.
