The defender's current deal expires at the end of the season with speculation suggesting he could be moved on in January with Stoke reluctant to see him leave for nothing. Celtic are among those believed to have expressed an interest in the Senegal international, with a New Year bid possibly in the pipeline. Stoke, though, have not given up hope of convincing Faye that he would be better served sticking around at the Britannia Stadium. Pulis said: "We are still in discussions with Abby because he's a decent player. "We've got Abby until the end of the season and things are happening behind the scenes, so there's no problem."
