Mackail-Smith scored his 35th goal of the season on Sunday as Peterborough beat Huddersfield Town 3-0 in the League One play-off final to secure promotion to the Championship. Posh expect the Scotland international to leave London Road before the start of next season and will not stand in the 27-year-old's way of joining a bigger club. Norwich City failed in a bid for Mackail-Smith earlier this year, while Everton and promoted Queens Park Rangers have also been linked with the forward. The former Dagenham & Redbridge front-man will not 'make a fuss' about leaving Peterborough, but expressed his eagerness to play in the top flight. "We'll see what the summer brings," said Mackail-Smith. "I'd love to be in the Premier League next season, that would be a dream come true. "I think the club have done what's best for them. I've always said that until a bid comes in that is right for them, I won't make a fuss and I'll get on with my job."
