Poland ground out a 0-0 draw with Greece in an international friendly on Tuesday that left the home side ruing its missed chances.

Greece, which leads Group F in Euro 2012 qualifying after winning 1-0 in Malta at the weekend, pressed before the break with Costas Mitroglou and Pantelis Kafes both missing clear opportunities to score.

The scoring chances in the second half only arrived at the very end with a shot from Kamil Grosicki in injury time, before Loukas Vyntra nearly converted found the net from a corner in the dying seconds.

''I think we all put in the effort but we didn't come away with anything. We kept running right till the end,'' Greece defender Vangelis Moras said.
