Police have arrested six men - widely reported to be footballers - on suspicion of sexual assault.
Sussex Police say five men from Brighton and one from Dorset were arrested Thursday and ''will be questioned in relation to an alleged sexual assault on a woman in July last year.''
Police would not comment upon the identities of the men but British media said five play for Brighton in England's second-tier League Championship and the other is a footballer with third-tier side Bournemouth.
Police said the men were aged between 18 and 24.
