Blackpool winger Matt Phillips is expected to miss the start of the new season after breaking his arm.
The 22-year-old, who will undergo surgery over the weekend, sustained the injury during training.
The club have not set a timescale on how long Phillips will be out of action.
Phillips, signed by Blackpool for £325,000 from Wycombe in the summer of 2010, made a total of 36 appearances for the club last season, scoring four goals.
