Morten Gamst Pedersen has given his backing to new Blackburn manager Steve Kean and insisted he has no plans to leave Ewood Park.
Christopher Samba revealed earlier this week that he wanted to move elsewhere after being angered by the decision of new owners Venky's to sack Sam Allardyce.
Kean has been appointed on a deal until the end of the season after flying out to India to hold talks with representatives from Venky's.
And Norwegian midfielder Pedersen says Kean has returned with assurances that the squad will be strengthened when the transfer window reopens.
"He has been told that no player is for sale and that there will come some new players in January and in June," Pedersen wrote on his personal blog gamst.co.uk.
"Our goal for this season is a top 10 position, and now we will do everything we can to make that happen.
"And therefore it is important that the whole club goes in the same direction, that means everybody with their heart in Blackburn has to work together.
"It goes for everyone from stadium crew, staff, players and supporters.
"Blackburn Rovers are a warm family club in the Premier League where the core values mean something, and it shall remain like that in the future too."
Pedersen was linked with a move away from Ewood Park over the summer but he opted to commit his future to Rovers by penning a new four-year contract.
And he has no regrets over his decision to stay despite recent events at the club, where he has plied his trade since 2004.
He wrote: "Let's just remove any doubts right now.
"I play at Blackburn Rovers and therefore have absolutely no reason to be unhappy.
"If I wanted to leave the club I would have done it in the summer, instead I signed a new contract and am very happy to be where I am.
"I've been here six-and-a-half years, and have almost four years left on my current contract and that contract I fully respect.
"Morten Gamst Pedersen is a happy Rover!"
