LILLE, France --

Ten-man Paris Saint-Germain overcame a strong resistance from Lille as Brazilian forward Lucas Moura netted the first goal of the French league season to give the defending champions a 1-0 win on Friday.

PSG was forced to play with 10 men for more than one hour after Adrien Rabiot was sent off in the 27th minute for a second yellow card.

PSG, which secured an unprecedented domestic treble last season and is chasing a fourth consecutive league title, dominated but struggled to break the solid Lille defense until Lucas found a breach in the 57th minute with a low shot past goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama that concluded a brilliant one-touch passing move.

It was PSG's 10th consecutive league win, a record sequence started in March.
