Paraguay’s Richard Ortiz scored in the final minute to salvage a 1-1 home draw on Tuesday against Uruguay in a South American World Cup qualifier.
Diego Forlan had put Uruguay ahead in the 67th.
Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera made a key save in the 80th on Roque Santa Cruz, which kept the visitors ahead until Ortiz scored the equalizer.
Uruguay, which won the Copa America three months ago, has four points from two games after defeating Bolivia in its opening qualifier while Paraguay has one point after losing its opener to Peru.
