Osman ready to make return
Abdul Osman is expected to return to the Crewe first team after last Saturday's clash against Portsmouth came too soon.
Osman has been sidelined since sustaining an ankle injury in the clash with Leyton Orient on September 22.
Despite travelling to Fratton Park with the rest of the Alex squad, manager Steve Davis decided two days of training was not enough for him to be considered for selection.
"Abdul did travel with us to Portsmouth but we just thought it was too soon for him," Davis told the club's official website.
"He only returned to training on the Wednesday before he left for Portsmouth and after speaking to our physio (Rob Sharp) he just felt he needed a bit more time before we could consider him again.
"We just wanted to give him some time to get that real sharpness back and for him to get that confidence and touch back out on the training ground. An extra week on the training ground will have done him good and he comes back into our plans for the weekend."
