Osasuna midfielder Masoud Soleimani will miss the rest of the season after breaking his foot during Sunday's loss to Atletico Madrid.
The team announced Monday that the Iran international will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old Soleimani has scored eight goals for the Spanish club since his arrival at the beginning of the 2008-09 season.
Osasuna is six points clear of the relegation zone with eight games to play after the 3-2 defeat at home to Atletico.
