Grant Holt came off the substitutes' bench to score the winner as Norwich ended a run of four Premier League games without a victory by edging Queens Park Rangers 2-1 on Saturday.
Russell Martin gave Norwich the lead after 15 minutes when the skipper reacted quickest during a melee in the six-yard box. QPR reacted well, though, and Luke Young slotted home a deserved equalizer from a tight angle when a speculative drive by Jamie Mackie came back off the post and into his path.
However, the west Londoners were to be denied a share of the spoils when Holt bundled home a cross from fellow substitute Wes Hoolahan in the 73rd minute.
The win ended a run of two defeats, preceded by two draws, for the East Anglian club.
