Schalke says Norway defender Tore Reginiussen is leaving the Bundesliga club to join Odense BK in Denmark.
Reginiussen joined Schalke halfway into the 2009-10 season but played only one Bundesliga match before being loaned to Lecce in the Italian Serie A and then to Tromso in Norway.
Schalke is trying to reduce its bloated squad. The club won the German Cup last season.
