The playmaker was part of previous boss Tony Mowbray's squad which went down from the top flight two seasons ago. But the 24-year-old believes their 4-1 victory over Everton in their last league game shows they have the steel needed to compete in the physical division. And that also comes to handling fellow Premier League newcomers Newcastle in Sunday's clash. He told the Daily Star Sunday: "Newcastle like to bully opponents, it's something their manager has instilled in them. "They have made themselves a tough team to beat and they have got some very big players. We are going to have to match that. "But we're looking forward to the challenge because it's definitely the case that we are handling ourselves much better in the Premier League this time round. "The last time we played Everton at this level, we battered them but lost. Last weekend, we rode our luck, took our chances and scored four against them. "Maybe we were intimidated when we came up two years ago. But we were all much younger then. "I was 22, Chris Brunt was only 22 and Graham Dorrans was just 19. "Everyone was younger but now we've group up. That's helping us."
