Moratti: Build-up won't distract Jose
Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti does not believe Jose Mourinho will be affected by any kind of hostility when he returns to Barcelona.
Mourinho will take Inter to Spain for Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final second leg.
The Portuguese worked at the Nou Camp in the 1990s under then manager Sir Bobby Robson, with part of his role to translate for the Englishman - earning him the nickname 'The Translator' with which he is taunted by Barca fans.
However, it is Mourinho who occupies the high ground with his Inter side 3-1 ahead following last week's first leg at the San Siro.
Moratti told Inter's official website: "I must say that as a translator he led the way!
"He will be treated as usual, wherever you go, except in London where they loved him anyway.
"Being a strong man, Mourinho is attacked in every way and, Wednesday night, this will be part of a tactic that our opponents will use to scare us.
"But Mourinho is very professional when there are games like these, he will prepare well."
Although the Italians hold a two-goal lead the match is far from over and the Catalan side have been vocal in their belief they can overturn the deficit.
Moratti added: "It will be a very exciting game. It is an important occasion, our players fully know what they are doing, so do all Mourinho and Inter fans that will watch the match in Barcelona.
"The fact Barcelona deem this game so important makes it even more interesting.
"On the other hand, we know how the atmosphere is in Barcelona, we've already experienced it in other games, but being a semi-final there will be even more motivation. "
Mario Balotelli has had a fraught relationship with Mourinho, underlined by his theatrics at the end of the first leg when he gestured to the crowd then threw his shirt to the ground.
While Moratti believes the striker will travel the implication is he will not feature at the Nou Camp.
"I would not bet too much on it but I think there might be a possibility Balotelli could go with the team to Barcelona.
"However, it might be easier if it is all healed after the game.
"The possibility of a meeting between the coach and the player is something they will have to work out."
