Striker Moussa Maazou scored in extra time as Monaco beat Lens 1-0
and reached the French Cup final.
Nene had already missed a penalty in Tuesday's match when
Maazou broke the deadlock in the 110th minute to end stubborn
resistance from Lens at Stade Louis II.
Nene crossed from the left and Maazou headed powerfully past
goalkeeper Vedran Runje.
Monaco was awarded a penalty early in the second half and
Nene scored. But when referee Stephane Bre ordered him to take it
again, he blasted the ball over the crossbar.
Monaco plays either Paris Saint-Germain or amateur side
Quevilly in the final. They play on Wednesday.
