Borussia Moenchengladbach says it has agreed a contract extension for teenage goalkeeper Marc Andre ter Stegen.
The Bundesliga club said in a statement Thursday that the 19-year-old ter Stegen will sign a deal for another year, tying him to the club until 2015.
Ter Stegen, who has played 18 Bundesliga games, joined his hometown club in 1996.
Moenchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl says ''Marc Andre is an outstanding talent in German football'' who ''has a great career ahead of him. We can be proud to have developed such a player.''
