AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani says the club is close to completing the signing of Urby Emanuelson from Ajax.
The two clubs have been in negotiations during the January transfer window, with reports suggesting the Italian club has offered the Netherlands midfielder a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Emanuelson's current contract expires at the end of the season.
Galliani told Milan's television channel on Saturday that "we are close to signing him. It isn't done yet, but everything points to it being done by this evening."
