Mick: Let's build on United win
McCarthy admitted that he and his team had enjoyed beating the league leaders but it would mean nothing if they haven't escaped the bottom three by the end of the season. Wanderers' victory over the Red Devils reverberated around the Molineux club's fellow strugglers and McCarthy said: "How do we follow United up? By going to Arsenal on Saturday and getting something I suppose. "That's not going to be easy, but neither was beating Man United. I think when Sir Alex has been saying that we're in a false position and we're a good team, he's saying it with sincerity because he's said that to me before. "So he wasn't just saying it - he meant it. We've made mistakes and had some bad luck, but we've played well, and when we play as well as we can and don't make any 'ricks', we're a good side. "It means a lot coming from Sir Alex but it doesn't matter - we're second bottom of the league - how many times has it been said that a side is too good to go down? "The only way we can prove what he said is by winning games."
