Paraguayan defender Dario Veron scored a first-half goal as Pumas defeated America 1-0 Sunday to become the last team to qualify for the Mexican Apertura playoffs.
Veron scored from a rebound in the 11th minute as Pumas earned their first win on the road this season and a spot against top-ranked Cruz Azul.
In the other quarterfinals, Monterrey will play Pachuca, Santos takes on Jaguares and America faces San Luis.
The Eagles lost for the first time at Azteca stadium since August 2009.

In other Sunday matches: Morelia and Puebla played to a 3-3 draw, while Toluca and Atlante drew 1-1.
