Guadalajara Chivas inaugurated its new $150 million stadium with a 3-2 victory over Manchester United in a friendly match on Friday. The star was Mexican Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez. Hernandez moved from Chivas to Manchester United over the summer.
He played the opening 45 minutes for his old team, scoring the game's first goal in the 8th minute with a bouncing 20-meter (yard) shot.
Hernandez played the second half with Man U but had few chances in front of a sellout crowd of 45,000.
