Veteran Sweden defender Olof Mellberg says he will retire from international football after the European Championship.
The 34-year-old Olympiakos defender told Swedish broadcaster SVT on Monday that Euro 2012 ''will definitely be my last'' major championship.
The former Aston Villa captain has played 112 games for Sweden, including the last three Euros and the 2002 and 2006 World Cups. He made his international debut in a friendly against Italy in 2000.
Sweden will play England, France and Ukraine in Group D at Euro 2012.
