Former England coach Steve McClaren will return to FC Twente, the Dutch club says, replacing current coach Co Adriaanse.
McClaren won the Dutch league title with Twente in 2010. Twente is currently in third place, but relations with between the coach and players and assistant trainers have been strained.
McClaren has been jobless since leaving Nottingham Forest in November.
