Obafemi Martins is set to leave Wolfsburg for Russian champions Rubin Kazan, the Bundesliga club have confirmed.
The Nigeria striker joined the Wolves from Newcastle last summer but was unable to establish himself as a first-team regular.
A statement on vfl-wolfsburg.de read: "Obafemi Martins will leave Wolfsburg after only one year. All the formalities have not yet been ironed but, but the Nigerian World Cup participant will move to the Russian Premier Liga."
