Martinez keen on City duo
Both players are expected to leave City before the close of the transfer window with the wingers well down the pecking order in Roberto Mancini's plans. Slovakian international Weiss was expected to join Dynamo Kiev earlier this week, but pulled out of the deal as he considered other options, including Wigan. Wright-Phillips is being chased by a host of clubs with Queens Park Rangers and Bolton both holding talks with the former Chelsea man. Martinez admits he would love to lure the duo to the DW Stadium as he looks to bolster his attacking options. "I followed Vladimir at the World Cup and many teams would love to have Shaun," said Martinez. Meanwhile, Martinez is refusing to cash in on striker Hugo Rodallega before transfer deadline day. Rodallega is in the final year of his contract and he has been strongly linked with a move away from Wigan. Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in Rodallega, but Martinez insists they will not be selling anyone before Wednesday's deadline as it does not leave them with enough time to bring in suitable replacements. "We wouldn't consider any late offers for Hugo," added Martinez. "You can't replace players at this stage of the season. "If a player is moving for big money they have to go earlier in the summer. "We would not be in a position to replace him now. It is not possible."
