Marseille's goalkeeper never saw this free-kick goal coming
Stopping a well-placed free kick is a difficult proposition. Stopping a well-placed that you can't even see? That's a whole nother ball of wax. Just ask Marseille goalkeeper Yohann Pele, who had to try and make a save in dense fog blanketing Dijon, France.
That didn't go so well. Pele didn't have a chance, as he clearly had difficulty seeing the ball until it was far too late. Kudos to Mehdi Abeid for beating the wall and striking a quality free kick, of course. Having Mother Nature on your side is a big boost, though. Dijon and Marseille were actually scheduled the play the match on Friday but officials postponed it due to dense fog.
It appears that fog hadn't exactly lifted, but they went ahead and played on Saturday, anyway. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.
