Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier has confirmed the French club are keen to sign Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta on loan.
Kakuta came off the bench in Chelsea's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Monday to make his fourth Premier League appearance of the season in what has been a stop-start campaign for the talented youngster.
Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has used him sparingly but the 19-year-old recently signed a contract extension through to 2015.
Dassier told French reporters: "Kakuta? Here at Marseille? Why not?

"He would be a good addition. But it will only be for the option of a straight loan - not to buy."
