Mancienne puts future talks on hold
The Chelsea defender is in his second loan spell with Wolves after initially being part of the side which gained promotion from the Championship last season. The 22-year-old had previously indicated he would welcome another stint at Molineux to aid with his development as a player. But any thoughts in that direction are now firmly on the back burner with Wolves giving themselves a chance of staying up after collecting eight points from the last four games. Mancienne said: "I'm not even thinking about it (my future) to be honest. "All I'm concentrating on is these last six games for Wolves. As to what happens after, that we'll have to see." Mancienne has started or come as a substitute in 25 league games this season and in recent matches has operated in a central midfield role. He said: "I have played in this position before but I'm learning about it more and more every time I play it. "I am happy playing anywhere I'm put but I do enjoy the midfield role." Mancienne admitted: "Being involved in this sort of survival battle is really good experience for me and, to be doing it in the top flight, is particularly important. "This is why I came here - to pick up that sort of experience. "The boys have been playing well recently and had some massive results recently. "I was just pleased to come in and start the last two games and play some part. "West Ham away was particularly enjoyable because we played some really good stuff and looked comfortable. "When the team are playing well you want to play as many games as possible."
