Although Manchester United are yet to confirm their pre-season plans for next summer, it was anticipated they would tour the United States once again.
And the announcement on Barcelona's website that Sir Alex Ferguson's men will form one of their opponents for a three-match tour suggests United will also spend an extended period across the Atlantic.
The Red Devils played five matches this year, including a game in Guadalajara against Chivas as part of the deal that took Javier Hernandez to Old Trafford.
