Manchester City will prepare for the new season by touring the United States in July.
The games are yet to be confirmed, but City announced Wednesday that they playing ``high-profile opponents in different cities along the East Coast.''
City is the biggest spending team in the Premier League since being bought by Sheikh Mansour of Abu Dhabi in September 2008.
The team, managed by Roberto Mancini, is chasing a spot in the Champions League for the first time.
