ROME (AP) Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has joined Roma on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
The Bosnia international scored 72 goals in 189 appearances for City since joining from Wolfsburg in January 2011 but he dropped down the striking pecking order.
City says the 29-year-old Dzeko will move permanently to Roma if ''certain conditions are met'' at the end of the season.
Dzeko has won the Premier League twice.
