Malaga says France midfielder Jeremy Toulalan has broken the big toe on his right foot.
The Spanish club says Toulalan will miss the ''next few matches'' due to the injury.
Malaga plays Osasuna on Saturday in the Spanish league.
The Costa del Sol side was eliminated from the Champions League quarterfinals by Borussia Dortmund earlier this week.
