Macedonia earns the win over Andorra
Macedonia scored from a corner in each half to beat Andorra 2-0 on Friday in a 2012 European Championship qualifier.
Forward Ilco Naumoski opened the scoring in the 42nd minute when he connected with a corner by defender Vlade Lazarevski. Fellow defender Vance Sikov converted another corner from Mario Gjurovski in the 60th.
Macedonia was put under pressure early in the match with goalkeeper Edin Nuredinovski forced to make saves in the 23rd and 38th minutes.
After Naumoski's goal, Macedonia's forwards continued to pressure Andorra goalkeeper Josep Gomes, who finished the match with five saves.
Andorra responded late in the second half and Nuredinovski had to save from defender Marcio Vieira in the 77th and from Ivan Lorenzo in injury time.
Macedonia has four points from three games in Group B while Andorra is last with no points after three games played.
Ireland, Slovakia, Armenia and Russia are also in the group.
